Aspreviously reported, Ghanaian model and TV host turned singer, Deborah Vanessa Owusu-Bonsu alias Sister Deborah had the world talking about her video for her single, ‘Uncle Obama’, which was largely interpreted to be risqué and innuendo-ridden. Well, she was back in the news this week ahead of the Obama-Romney debate this week, when viral Internet star got to explain her music on CNN via skype.

The song, which has nothing to do with the US President Barrack Obama but is being perceived as such, has gained major popularity worldwide in the 2 weeks since its release. With over half a million views collectively online, the video for Uncle Obama has now caught the attention of mainstream media. CNN’s Richard Davis contacted Sister Deborah a few days ago to set up a Skype interview with the ‘Queen of Quirks’, Jeanne Moos. In the interview, which aired Tuesday night on CNN International & CNN America, Sister Deborah said the song had nothing to do with the US President.
She explained, “It has nothing to do with the president, no and nothing to do with politics. I know he (Obama) is a cool person and I don’t expect him to get offended. But if he is offended in anyway, I do apologize. It’s not about him.”
